She has had works commissioned from several Latin American ensembles. She has had six works premiered with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and has a close relationship with the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, who premiered her choral works Missa Mysteriorum and Requiem. Carnegie Mellon First-Year Composition ShowcaseThe Carnegie Mellon School of Music presents an afternoon of music composed by first-year composition majors. Additionally, students are encouraged to take advantage of the many minor studios and electives offered every summer.
